The Federation of Film Academies Europe (FACE) has launched Best of Europe, a new initiative designed to increase the visibility of films that have recently won top national awards from its member academies. The programme is hosted on Festival Scope Pro, a leading B2B streaming platform for film professionals, and offers members of European film academies curated online access to a rotating selection of award-winning titles.

Access to the screening room is reserved for members of the twenty-four national and regional film academies that make up FACE, as well as selected industry professionals. The initiative supports FACE’s mission to celebrate and promote European cinema while highlighting diverse voices, cultures and storytelling traditions across the continent.

The inaugural selection features three award-winning films: Heads or Fails (Aimer perdre) from Belgium (Wallonia), winner of acting prizes at the René Awards 2026; Frontera from Catalonia, winner of Best Film at the Premis Gaudí 2026; and Breathing Underwater (Hors d’haleine) from Luxembourg, winner of Best Luxembourgish Feature Film at the Lëtzebuerger Filmpräis 2025. Films are made available online for limited periods and may vary according to territorial availability.
